Triggered by what the artist felt as a collisions between her unconscious memory and cinematic representation, Time machines is visual journey that explores relationship between two redundant watch towers perched on the edge of the West coast of Ireland.Each watch tower comes from different periods of time: (Napoleonic and WW2), both outmoded forms of surveillance sit on the edge of a world they guard and, to the artist, appear to be watching each other, caught between the position of viewer and viewed, of subject and object:as intruders in an invented landscape of anxiety and occult outside of order and condition.
